About Us The Long Island Store is a summer go to place for ice cream, pizza, sandwiches, beer, wine, groceries t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts and much, much more..
 Pictured in the foreground is the old Spar and Post Office. The Long Island Store (white building) has been owned and operated since 2001 by Bill and Mary Jane McCalmon. We came to Long Island in 1979 and lived in the Beach Cove for 9 summers with our two children, Ryan and Sarah. Bill and Mary Jane are former school administrators in Portland where they reside in the winter. | Long Island Store is located west of Mariners Landing, a 3 minute walk from the boat, next to the old Spar and across the street from the Catholic Church.
